Accessibility Statement

Commitment

Public transit exists to serve everyone, and this site aims to meet the same standard. The goal is conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Measures taken

  • Semantic headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers can navigate structure.
  • A skip-to-content link and full keyboard operability with visible focus styles.
  • Text and interface colors chosen for sufficient contrast in normal reading conditions.
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages, and error text announced to assistive technology.
  • Layouts that reflow for small screens and remain readable when text is enlarged.

Known limitations

Some technical illustrations, schedule tables, and sign examples convey detail that is difficult to express fully in text. Where that occurs, the surrounding article explains the same information in prose. Reports of specific gaps are welcome.
